Grzegorz Buczkowski - President Aged 44, married. President of Management Board of the Credit Union Mutual Insurance Society since 1998, plus - since 2003 - President of Management Board of the CU Life Insurance Society, Joint-Stock Company (TU SKOK ZYCIE S.A.). In addition, Mr Buczkowski is a lecturer at the Higher School of Finance and Administration of Gdańsk. Since 1992 Mr Buczkowski has been a consultant of PHARE and UNDP programmes and one of the leaders creating the system of Poland's co-operative savings and credit unions. In 2001, in Paris, Mr Buczkowski was awarded the prize of the World Council of Credit Unions at the "Young Credit Union Professionals" contest. In 2007, he was appointed a member of the Board of Directors of AMICE , an international organisation established in Brussels, in which organisation over 200 insurance entities from all parts of the world are associated. He is a graduate of the MBA studies at the University of Gdańsk and Strathclyde University, Glasgow, Scotland and of English Philology at the University of Gdańsk. His hobbies include history and sports.
